Claim Audits

The old saying of "Don't Expect what you Don't Inspect" clearly defines the purpose of Claim Audits.  In the market where insurance companies and Third Party Administers are under constant pressure to increase margins, adjusters case loads have increased significantly.  The end result has been disastrous to policy holders that have claim frequency like the restaurant and hospitality.  With the exception of Workers Compensation Coverage, if you have a guarantee cost policy there is not a lot you can do except negotiate involvement and protocols into next renewal.  

If you have a Self Insured Retention and/or loss sensitive policy it is incumbent upon you to clearly define claim handling protocols and verify that they are being adhered to. This is done through Claim Audits.   We will do an physical audit of the specifically targeted claim file that have produce significant loss reserved.  In addition litigation management can be implemented to reduce the impact of these claims on the financial results of the company.
